5 Tips for a Standout Model Application

What our scouts look for in applications — and how to make yours rise to the top of the pile every single time.

What Separates a Great Application From the Rest

Our scouting team reviews thousands of applications each year. Here's what makes the best ones stand out.

1. Natural Photos Over Polished Ones

We want to see YOU — not a heavily retouched version. Submit clean, well-lit photos with natural makeup. A phone camera in good lighting beats a filtered studio shot every time.

2. Show Range in Your Portfolio

Don't submit five photos that all look the same. Include:

  • A smiling headshot
  • A serious/editorial expression
  • A full-body shot in form-fitting clothing
  • A casual lifestyle shot
  • A profile or three-quarter angle

3. Be Honest About Your Measurements

Inaccurate measurements cause problems at castings and fittings. Measure yourself properly and update us if anything changes. Honesty builds trust from day one.

4. Complete Every Section

An incomplete application signals a lack of commitment. Fill out every field — even the optional ones. Social media handles, experience, and personal statements all help us understand who you are.

5. Follow Up Professionally

There's a difference between being eager and being pushy. A single polite follow-up email after 7–10 days is appropriate. Multiple messages or demands for an immediate response are not.

Remember: We want to find great talent. Make it easy for us to say yes by being clear, complete, and professional.

Submit your application today — it's free and takes about 15 minutes.
